Reflecting on the Cross
As is customary, the church will be open open each morning from 9:00 am in Holy Week 2025 for quiet reflection on Easter, what in other traditions is called the “Stations of the Cross”.
To help you reflect on aspects of the Crucifixion and the meaning of Easter, Chris and some of the congregation have set up some posters and guided meditations on the walls of the church and on some display tables at the end of the pews.

A group of volunteers from the congregation will open and attend the church from 9:00 am each day so any of us can spend some time viewing the posters and displays and enjoying a quiet time undisturbed by the other activities in the church hall.
The images and guided reflections are a powerful reminder of the Good Friday events that unfold in the scriptures while providing some very helpful reminders how these related to our everyday life in the modern world. They are all worth viewing before the more mundane aspects of our Easter long weekend take over!

You will find that a few minutes spent viewing the material, in reflection and prayer this Holy Week will be very rewarding.
